Designed by world class custom knife maker Jon Sorenson, the new Evo 4.0 is a perfectly sized pocket rocket. Jon’s Rotten Design insignia is tastefully emblazoned on the lock side adjacent to the large external stop pins. Beneath the exterior attractiveness, a steel lock bar insert interfaces with the blade tang and also functions as an integrated lock bar stabiliser. Dmitry Sinkevich’s Multi Row Bearing System (MRBS) has been used to achieve a brilliantly smooth and fast deployment and closing action. A bark textured finish has been applied to the Dark Ti 3D contoured titanium handle, which not only adds visual depth, but also provides a unique tactile experience. Where many pocket clips are an afterthought, the Evo’s 3D machined Ti clip is seamlessly integrated in both design and function. The S90V blade has been ground with a tall hollow and then beautifully finished with a hand rubbed satin. A ZircuTi Pivot Collar is the cherry on top, elevating the Evo’s capitating aura.
