Although Strider’s SnG and SMF pivots aren’t proprietary, finding a spanner bit which perfectly seats and won’t mar the pivot is extremely difficult. This, in fact, is often a deterrent for many who wish to perform maintenance/cleaning on their Striders. The PSD Design spanner bit, however, is perfectly machined to fit SnG and SMF pivots, and even sports a central locating post to limit slip off and resultant damage to the pivot and show side scale. This tool is also compatible with Hinderer Pivots.
