Receiving grail status from many, the Chris Reeve Sebenza stimulates a strong pride of ownership. The Sebenza 31 is CRK’s superseder to the much loved Sebenza 21. Heat treated to 63 – 64 RC, the MagnaCut blade offers a trifecta of great edge retention, fantastic corrosion resistance, and superb toughness. Ground with a deep hollow grind, the Sebenza 31 boasts excellent service life – and actually becomes thinner behind the edge as the bevel approaches the centre of the concave. Functional and uniquely CRK, the insingo blade profile is a welcome change from the more standard drop point config. Both the lock side and show side are adorned with gorgeous Macassar Ebony Inlays. The juxtaposition of warm and unique wood inlays with the man-made and ultra precise titanium handle is visually striking and seldom executed as elegantly as CRK has achieved.
