Equipped with an S45VN blade, this upgraded blade steel runs at 60 – 62 RC, which means you can expect improved edge retention whilst maintaining ease of sharpening and edge toughness. Ground with a deep hollow grind, the Sebenza 31 offers excellent service life, and actually becomes thinner behind the edge as the bevel approaches the centre of the concave.
